The categories
New Explorer: For beginners with no coding experience, we will guide you with beginner tutorials so you learn a useful skills and can participate in the coding challenge
Rising Star: If you have some experience with code, take part in this category and aim for the grand prize!
Project Description
Our bear friends Mocha and Mochi leave the busy city for some time away in their friend Matcha’s farm. Activities are aplenty on this farm and you will be in charge of coding these activities and generating fictional income for the three bears!

2. Code:
- If you are new, watch our beginner tutorials to get started
- Access our Scratch project template provided in the email and remix it to create your own version of the project for submission
3. Submit:
- Before 14th November 2023 (11:59PM)
- Submit your project here (ensure that the project is shared to the public so we can review it)
4. Win:
- Announcement of winners on 21st November 2023

Can I invite my friends for this hackathon?
Yes, the more the merrier – your kids learn together and challenge each other making for some fun and healthy competition! Just send them the link to register and they will receive the details!
What if my kids have never done coding before?
That’s why this hackathon is here! We aim to introduce kids to coding in a fun manner and we have the easy-to-follow tutorials to get started on this exciting coding journey!
Cash prizes worth RM500 to be won. If you’re just starting out join our “New Explorer” category. If you have some experience under your belt shoot for the grand prize in the Rising Star category!
